Pre-winter Roof Inspection – October 2018

Another happy customer saved hundreds of pounds by hiring me for a drone roof inspection. Rather than spending time and money erecting scaffolding to check on the condition of her roof following previous works, the client contacted me enquiring about my drone roof inspection. The operation took less than an hour and she had the high resolution photographs in her inbox within 24 hours.

Although the roof was generally in good condition, we did identify an area on the chimney stacks where the pointing was still missing, a  broken tile which had come loose from one side of the roof supporting the chimney stack, some cracks at the top of the chimney itself. These could explain the recurrent damp walls internally and the client will be going back to her contractors to request an explanation. There was also a small amount of debris from a crumbling concrete slab, and a mysterious pair of bricks on next door’s flat roof!
